Homeopathy

"The physician's highest calling, his only calling, is to make sick people healthy - to heal, as it is termed", aiming for the "rapid, gentle, and permanent restoration of health “-Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843) was a German physician who founded homeopathy. Disillusioned with harsh 18th-century medical practices, he developed the foundational principle similia similibus curentur—meaning "like cures like"—the theory that a substance causing symptoms in a healthy person can cure those same symptoms in a sick person.

“Homeopathic medicine when stripped of its material form by potentization and placed upon the tongue, it will be taken into the system immediately”- James Tyler Kent (1849–1916) was one of the most influential figures in the history of homeopathy., and the most well know American Homeopathic physician.
